Umpiring

CENA require that each match has two registered umpires, who must hold at least a C-grade qualification from Netball Scotland.

• Check their choice of division - some newly qualified umpires are not suitable or not comfortable with division 1 matches.
• Check that they are not playing at the time you require an umpire.
• To improve your chances you should try to ask someone who is also playing on the night you require.

CENA rules state that a £10 payment should be made when using an umpire from another club.
